Triple Layer Chocolate Bars Recipe

1 1/2 cupsgraham cracker crumbs (375 mL)
1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa, divided (125 mL)
1/4 cupgranulated sugar (50 mL)
1/2 cupbutter or margarine, melted (125 mL)
1 cansweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) (300 mL)
1/4 cupall-purpose flour (50 mL)
1 egg (1)
1 tspvanilla (5 mL)
1/2 tspbaking powder (2 mL)
3/4 cupchopped nuts (175 mL)
2 cupsCHIPITS Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (350 g)


    1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).

    2. In medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and 1/4 cup (50 mL) of the cocoa. Stir in melted butter, blending well. Press mixture firmly on bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking pan.

    3. In medium bowl, beat sweetened condensed milk, egg, vanilla, flour, baking powder and remaining 1/4 cup (50 mL) cocoa. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly over prepared crust. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over top.

    4. Bake 25 minutes or until set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

    Makes 24 to 36 bars.
